1. Who We Are

RVGEN.AI is operated by a media technology company registered within the twofour54 Media Zone, Abu Dhabi, UAE. For data enquiries, contact us at privacy@rvgen.ai.

2. Information We Collect

When you register for a workshop or access the RVGEN Lab, we collect:

• Full name and email address
• Phone number (optional)
• School or organisation name
• Workshop preference and registration details
• Google account profile information (if you sign in with Google)
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Usage data — which Lab tools you access, session duration (for improving the service)

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, ethnicity, or government ID numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process your workshop registration and grant Lab access
• To send you confirmation emails and course materials
• To process workshop payments via Stripe
• To verify your identity when you sign in
• To improve our workshops and Lab tools based on usage patterns
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

• Google Firebase — authentication and database (Google LLC, USA). Data stored on Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Inc., USA). Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
• Google reCAPTCHA — bot protection on forms.
• Google Drive API — if you connect your Drive for file storage in the Storyboard Studio. We access only files created by our app.

5. Children's Privacy

Our workshops are designed for students, which may include persons under 18. We require parental or guardian consent for registration by anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@rvgen.ai and we will delete it promptly.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verified parental consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your registration data for as long as you have an active account or as required to provide services. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Payment records may be retained for 7 years as required by UAE financial regulations.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. These include encrypted transmission (HTTPS), Firebase security rules that restrict data access to authorised users only, and regular security reviews. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Google Drive Access

If you choose to connect Google Drive in the Storyboard Studio, our application requests permission to create and manage files in your Drive. We only access files that our app creates — we cannot access your other Drive files, emails, or Google account data. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
